Acacia is a trained archaeologist with 20 years of experience doing fieldwork, managing collections and creating public programming for American Museum of Natural History, NYC’s Landmarks Preservation Commission and other cultural heritage firms in the tri-state area.
Digital Archivist
In 2018, the Society for American Archaeology reported that less than 12% of the public learn about archaeology through digital media.
In response, Acacia founded Archaeological Analytics to promote digital archives and online collections.
UX Strategist
Experience with digital archiving has led to other opportunities needing similar strategies. UX AAB showcases digital work for small businesses, non-profits and industries outside the humanities.
